Marching Band Protests at Shaw’s

Workers at Shaw’s Methuen warehouse have been on strike due to a contract dispute for over two months now and recently, activists took to the Porter Square store itself to demand a boycott, reports Dishing. The protest took the form of a flash mob, complete with a second line performing a modified version of “Down By the Riverside.” Best episode of Treme yet! Sure, this isn’t quite as au courant as last month’s “Bad Romance”-adapting hotel protest in San Francisco, but it’s a pretty entertaining piece of supermarket theater nonetheless.
