We got all excited last week when Chicago Now announced that Doug Sohn was going to be a sausage consultant for a new sausage and beer bar in Wicker Park. It wasn’t quite a new Hot Doug’s, but it was still big news. Well, turns out it’s not quite true. Chicago Magazine reports that Sohn merely talked with with the owners about how to store the sausages: “I’m not like a consulting chef at all. [I was] answering some restaurant question for them—just some rough ideas about kitchen storage, those sorts of things.” [Chicago Magazine via Feast]
