While Tom Colicchio is tweeting from the Gulf Coast, where he’s surveying the effects of the BP spill firsthand (he told the Dallas Business Journal that he and a few other chefs are meeting with fishing families and touring Grand Isle), the Tap Room at Colicchio & Sons is getting ready for a change. During the month of July, a $25, three-course prix fixe will be offered from noon till 5 p.m. (consider it a Restaurant Week alternative). According to the release, it’ll offer dishes off of the regular lunch menu (such as the roast-pork sandwich), pizzas (e.g., mortadella, goat cheese, spring onion and fava bean), and desserts such as the zeppole with hot fudge and mint ice cream.
