Though Buddy Guy’s Legends quietly opened its brand new location for the insane crowds attending the Chicago Blues Festival last weekend, the venerable club officially opens tomorrow. The $5 million new location sits at 700 S. Wabash, just a few yards north of the 20 year old original location in the South Loop. It boasts new sound equipment, and a more open floor plan to allow for better sight lines. The food will continue the Cajun/Creole bent, with po’ boys and jambalaya. You can check the menu out here, but we imagine you’ll probably care more about the upcoming June schedule of bands. [Sun-Times via Sloopin]
