What to Eat at Jimmie, Now Open in the Tenderloin

Jimmie Kwok, chef at Bodega Bistro in the Tenderloin’s Little Saigon, has just opened a new Asian-Italian restaurant called Jimmie around the corner in the newly remodeled Cova Hotel (655 Ellis). The menu is primarily Italian with a raw bar and a few Chinese and Southeast Asian accents, and Jimmie says he’s paying tribute to Marco Polo (after whom he names his potstickers), “the first Italian guy to go to Asia.” See the full, highly eclectic menu below.
