Sam’s Place, the Louis Boston restaurant rumored to be helmed by Esti Parsons that we told you about last month, is official and it’s a doozy. The restaurant, named for owner Debi Greenberg’s daughter, will indeed be run by Esti Parsons, along with her husband Drew. Esti is, of course, a vet of the late, great Michaela’s, as well as the Radius group spots.

Ken Rogers, most recently seen running the show at Milton’s 88 Wharf, will helm the kitchen. His resume includes stints at Via Matta, the Parish Cafe, and Bina Osteria. At Sam’s Place, he’ll turn out a bistro menu filled with casual takes on French country fare. Keeping up with the family theme at Sam’s, Rogers will be joined by his brother Andy as sous chef. Jon Parsons, Drew’s brother and an alum of Brooklyn hipster spots Sweet Ups and Royal Oak, will tend the bar.

Sam’s Place will be open for lunch and dinner daily and will also offer a weekend brunch. Picnic basket and blanket rentals will also be available for those who want to eat on Fan Pier. Sam’s Place is expected to open by the end of the month.
