Give your food-centric mom a Mother’s Day gift a day early: a trip up to northern Sonoma and what promises to be a very special whole lamb dinner on Saturday prepared by chef Mateo Granados, with pairings by Quivira Vineyards. The event will be hosted outdoors at the winery, and features a seasoned chef who’s been getting buzz lately for the underground, mid-week dinners that he’s been serving up the road in a Russian River barn.

The event kicks off at 4 p.m. on Saturday, and features four courses with Quivira wine pairings. At $125 a head, it’s really a pretty decent deal for the experience you’ll be getting, far from the bustle of inner-Bay-Area restaurants on this holiday weekend.

Below the full menu. Tickets for the event are available here, in care of Relish Culinary Adventures.
