If there’s one thing the Upper West Side is not known for it’s pizza. But the neighborhood’s stunningly sparse offerings might be getting a serious kick in the pants this summer, as blog My Upper West hears that the West Village’s Kesté, whose hyperauthentic Neapolitan pies Rob Patronite and Robin Raisfeld named the top “pizza of the moment” last summer, is gearing up to launch a branch of their pizza-and-wine restaurant somewhere west of Central Park. Since the opening is — or was — “secret,” there’s no location revealed as yet. We’ll keep you posted as we learn more.
