What is it about businessmen and falafel? Chicago isn’t exactly known for its fried chickpea scene, but there are a surprising number of falafel restaurants huddled together in the Loop. Whether it’s the Oasis Cafe in the jewelry store, Haifa Cafe, or BenjYehuda (where you can stop by for a Yehuda flight) they seem to be especially popular downtown. Our personal favorite, I Dream of Fafalel, is opening a second shop at 112 W Monroe St., just a few blocks away from the original location. This is all good news for those with an insatiable appetite for falafel, and yet have to eat it during strict business lunch hours. [Thrillist]
