Yesterday vendors were announced for Brooklyn Bridge Park and Police Plaza, and today we’ve gotten word that in a few weeks, Ed’s Lobster Bar will open a freestanding kiosk outside of the World Financial Center, next to the marina.
Ed McFarland tells us he’ll serve a couple of items currently available at his ever-crowded Soho spot: the $27 lobster roll (also available with half the meat at $15) and a sautéed soft-shell crab on ciabatta bread, with tartar sauce, lettuce, tomato, and red onion. Sandwiches will start at $6 and there’ll be a couple of new ones, too — a tuna salad and a grilled shrimp po’ boy. Ed’s Lobster Bar, as the kiosk will be also be called, will be open daily from 11:30 a.m. till dark.
