In honor of Cinco de Mayo, the Latin cocktail-eadors at Cantina will be opening up at 2 p.m. in order to start squeezing limes for a night’s worth of five-spice margaritas. Should you be off work tomorrow afternoon, you may want to stop in before the tequila-shooting crowds descend.

Also, over at the ballpark, Mijita is celebrating its first Cinco de Mayo with $5 margaritas, $1 off Dos Equis (between 5 and 7 p.m.), and chef Traci Des Jardins guest bartending all day. Also, you’ll get free chips and salsa with your drinks.

In the same ‘hood, you might also consider an early night with a spicy margarita at Tres Agaves, but that’s one of those spots that we wouldn’t go near after 7 p.m. on this particular tequila-loving holiday.

For a more civilized affair, CODA is offering live jazz, free appetizers with drink purchase, and a free Frog’s Leap wine tasting from 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow night. Reserve through Tweservation.

And lastly, Destino is celebrating their 10th anniversary tomorrow evening with $5 tapas specials (also available next door at Pisco), and $5 drink specials all night.
