Mission: Some painting activity yesterday alerts us to the arrival, by the end of June, of B3 into the former Janitzi/Senses space (1152 Valencia), that has had a bit of a curse hanging over it these last few years. The concept: burgers and wine. [Grub Street]

Castro: Cortado, a new café from the owner of Georges and Nook, is heading into the former Café at Café du Nord space (2168 Market Street). They’ll be specializing in coffee (from Equator), sandwiches, and will serve the only menoushe (Lebanese breakfast pizza) in town. [Eater]
