What to Eat at Sagra, Bringing Duck Gnocchi to Dedham in Early May

Last month, we told you that Somerville’s Sagra would open a second branch in the former home of Finz in Dedham and today, we’ve got a first look at the menu. David Artiano, a vet of Excelsior and Locke-Ober, is at the helm, creating a menu, below, that’s more seafood-focused than the original, with dishes like a spring-inspired dish scrod in fish fumet with asparagus and new potatoes taking their place alongside Sagra classics like gnocchi with duck ragout and orange essence. The Sagra space will also house Sagra on the Side, a gourmet Italian market, as well as a private dining room on the second floor. Karaoke is planned for Thursdays, and alternate Saturdays will see a Frank Sinatra impersonator.
