Mayor Daley made a bet with the mayor of Vancouver, and sausage is the main currency. Chicago will have to fork over 100 Vienna Beef hot dogs and 100 polish sausages if the Vancouver Canucks beat our hometown Blackhawks in the NHL playoffs. No word yet what Vancouver’s side of the deal is, but last year after the Cancuks lost, they had to dish out “Molson Canadian beer, dried morels, salt caramels, organic corn tortilla chips and Thai-style blueberry sauce.” [Trib]
