Island Creek Oyster Bar, the first restaurant from Duxbury’s Island Creek Oyster Company. will open in the former Great Bay space late this summer. Jeremy Sewall of Lineage and Eastern Standard will helm the kitchen, which will turn out seafood-focused fare in addition to a raw bar. Sewall is teaming up with Eastern Standard owner Garrett Harker — here’s hoping that means killer cocktails to go with the bivalves. Looks like we spoke too soon this morning when we said Hotel Commonwealth was down to one restaurant.
