Last week, we looked at Wolfgang Puck’s menu at new WP24 in Downtown’s Ritz-Carlton, which appears to be expertly balance his longtime Asian-fetish, found at Chinois and Spago, with the carnivorous gravity of his newer Cut. Here we have the first photos of the restaurant space by iCrave. A stunning lounge of blonde, slatted-wood pods with leather love-seats and bar tables of both jet black and natural kaleidoscopic stone leads to a stormy, if monochromatic, dining room of gray curtains, jade-surfaced leather chairs and stone tables, and creamy green booths. While spiced with a few gilded details, it is WP24’s staggering views that are its best design feature and the room smartly highlights the sweep by demonstrating some restraint. Take a look at our slide show of Wolfgang Puck’s new WP24 and please let us know what you think of our local legend’s latest.
