Coolidge Corner Theatre will soon begin to offer wine and beer, reports the Brookline TAB. Though the movie theater still needs approval from the state, now that the town’s Board of Selectman has authorized the liquor license, it looks to be smooth sailing ahead. This is excellent news for Brooklinians, who will no longer be forced to smuggle booze in Coke bottles in order to have a drink during their art house movies (not that we’ve ever done such a thing, of course). The theater hasn’t yet decided on beer and wine purveyors. What would you like to see served at Coolidge Corner?
