In another example of suspiciously perfect Top Chef marketing, Marcus Samuelsson made it to the next round of Top Chef Masters on Wednesday, and on Friday he announced his new line of high-end stoves at C-House here in Chicago. The BlueStar appliances feature twice the normal cooking power as a regular stove, a French burner, and are coated in copper and stainless steal. Only 200 will be produced, and each will be inscribed with the buyer’s name along with Samuelsson’s. The entry level version can be yours for a mere $6,000. [Trib]
