La Minette Goes from Bistrot to Basque

After attending a rather spectacular special dinner at Bistrot La Minette a few weeks ago, we’d like to point you in the direction of another special dinner the Queen Village restaurant is hosting on both Wednesday, April 21 and Thursday, April 22. In a nod to the new Picasso exhibit at the Art Museum, they’ll have a four course prix-fixe Basque dinner for $35 per person or $50 with wine pairings. Click through for the menu.

Garbure / Basque stew, duck confit, cabbage, potatoes, turnips
Cabillaud Cuisiné Comme au Pays Basque / Pan-roasted cod, white beans, pimento, sherry vinegar, olive oil
Poulet à la Basquaise / Oven-roasted chicken, Basque piperade
Gateau Basque / Pastry cream- and confiture-filled cake, vanilla ice cream

Reservations are recommended. In other related La Minette news, the gorgeous courtyard is now open for outdoor dining and the Monday night French movie screenings in it will start in May.
