After raving the other day about the burger at Marlowe (which we suspect will be the subject of this Sunday’s review), Michael Bauer reaches back into the archive to unearth a piece from 1989 (unlinkable because SFGate’s archives only date to ‘95) in which, during his early days at the Chron, he did a round-up of the city’s best burgers.
