Tapings of Iron Chef America are usually witnessed only by invited journalists who come back wringing their hands about whether it was all staged, but Charity Buzz is giving laymen the chance to visit Kitchen Stadium with three friends. Thing is, after just a day, bidding is already up to $950, and the $5,000 “estimated value” of the experience leads us to believe it’ll only climb higher. And for all that, you don’t even get to try the food! (The money, however, goes to a charity that builds low-income housing.)
