We’re looking to revive the restaurant real estate blind item here at Grub Street SF, and what better way to start than with an endangered, “premiere” restaurant that’s now up for grabs for $2.7 million, somewhere in the vicinity Union Square. The clues: 6,000 square feet; seats 100; recently remodeled and has a fully outfitted kitchen; has a full liquor license and cocktail lounge, as well as banquet rooms; it’s not attached to a hotel and is in a free-standing structure, because the building is included in the price. Whichever the restaurant is, the name and menu do not come with the sale, and it needs to be “repositioned” in order to be more profitable. Guesses?
