Jose Andres is moving brunch and high-tea services out of The Bazaar and into Tres, the SLS Hotel’s lobby restaurant that always made us scratch our head at not being more Andres-affiliated. Problem solved. In addition, the chef has greatly expanded brunch, adding new dishes and cocktails of his own creation. Among the many additions are a pressed Croissantini with eggs, chicken sausage, and herbed cream cheese, plus pappardelle with Idiazabal cheese and his famous egg 63, plus a lobster and king crab sandwich with caper chive mayo. Andres also mixed up an olive oil-infused recipe riffing on sherry, a tangerine screwdriver with Cachaca, and a variation on Long Island iced tea, as well as Greek yogurt shakes for the tee-totaling. So why the move to Tres?

This relocation will allow the restaurant to better display its Wonderland-worthy spread of strange desserts during afternoon tea, as well as a similar, brand new morning spread called “The Brunch Table” with a carving station, caviar and smoked salmon displays, cheese, charcuterie, and aguas frescas. Check out The Bazaar’s full new brunch and cocktail menus below, but don’t look for the offerings at The Bazaar anymore, but across the driveway.
