A new beer garden and “European soul food” joint opened recently just off the square in downtown Sonoma called Lokal (522 Broadway Street/Route 12) — this is not to be confused with our very own Local, newly open on 24th Street. They specialize in things like sausage, schnitzel, and spaetzle, and they’ve got something we’d be more than willing to order called a chicken paprikash pot pie. Also, the beer garden provides a nice, sudsy respite in the warmer months from all that wine. See the full food menu below.
