Think Tank Planning ‘Cantabrigian Cuisine’ in Kendall

“We’re calling it New American cuisine, but there are going to be lots of Asian and Middle Eastern influences. Actually, we should probably call it Cantabrigian-American” says owner Vincent Conte of his forthcoming restaurant Think Tank. Housed in the Kendall Square space that formerly held Shine, chef Colin Davis, formerly of Franklin Cafe, Toro, and the South End Buttery, will turn out dishes that Conte calls “bar food done better” like sriracha wings with pickled jicama and appetizer-sized bánh mì. Prices will top out at $28, and the food will be sustainable, local, and organic.

The cocktail list will be extensive and focused on the classics, with a list of slings and a Pimm’s Cup among the offerings. A late night menu will be served until at least 12:30am and there’s a separate area for dancing, DJs, and live music. Think Tank is set to open at the end of April. Between this, EVOO and Za, and Hungry Mother, is Kendall Square the new Inman Square?
