Opening up Wednesday in the former Green Chile Kitchen space at Fulton and Baker is Chile Pies and Ice Cream, a new dessert shop with a southwestern flair from the Green Chile Kitchen folks — they relocated the savory side of things to 1801 MacAllister back in November. As SFoodie tells us, they’ll be offering Frito pie (yum!), seasonal berry pies, banana ice cream, as well as a house-specialty green chile-apple pie with cheddar crust. Also, a new high-calorie innovation: the pie milkshake, which features a whole slice “whirled up in it.”
