So, it turns out that former Pasta Pomodoro CEO Adriano Paganini, who is now partner in the casual-pizza-etc. triumvirate of Beretta, Starbelly, and Delarosa, never let go of the lease on the shuttered Castro Pasta P location (2304 Market Street) when he sold off the chain last month. As the Chron reports, Paganini and business partner Deborah Blum are planning a new burger joint in the space called Super Duper, modeled after Manhattan’s mega-popular Shake Shack, which should hopefully be open by early April. The counter-service menu will feature single burgers for four dollars, doubles for seven, french fries, milk shakes, and soft-serve ice cream. Could it be Bi-Rite soft-serve, perchance?
