From the tipline this morning comes word of a new Puerto Rican restaurant called Parada 22 from chef Alex Jackson — who in addition to exec chef duties at The Corner and Weird Fish is also opening up Black Sheep Pub in the coming months, as Grub Street reported earlier. Parada 22 is set to open in two weeks, on or around April 12th, in the former Chabela space at 1805 Haight Street, next door to Cha Cha Cha. “The menu’s going to be very traditional,” Jackson says. “But the dish we’re most excited about is the whole fried fish.” Check back here for a full menu next week. [Ed. Note: Keep those tips coming, friends!]
