Just three month’s into his tenure at Chez TJ (following a bit of chef shuffle drama), chef Scott Nishiyama earns high praise from the Mercury News for his “extraordinary flavor[s]” from start to finish. Jennifer Graue writes, “I could write a dissertation about the quartet of beets served for the amuse bouche,” and she goes on also to lavish accolades on the service and sommelier Suzanne Chowla’s “passion” and enthusiasm.
