Dave & Buster’s hopes to open its first Massachusetts location in the South Shore Plaza, reports the Braintree Forum. Dave & Buster’s, which currently operates 55 locations nationwide, offers bar food alongside arcade games — a sort of ersatz Jillians. Don’t get too excited yet, though: Dave & Buster’s application still needs to be approved, and the vice president of Braintree’s town council seems to be concerned that drug dealers will be lured in by the skee-ball: ““Granite Park is a wonderful, tight knit neighborhood where people take very good care of their property. It’s no place for out of town drug dealers to conduct business.” Well, then!
