Longtime political consultant Clint Reilly — who helped Nancy Pelosi get elected to Congress back 1987 — along with his chef Mario Maggi at the politically inclined restaurant Credo (360 Pine Street), are offering a special next week in honor of Speaker Pelosi and the historic passing of the health care reform bill. Maggi will be serving up a brodetto all’Adriatica ($19) which includes a healthy mix of salmon, tuna, mussels, clams, and squid in a white wine, garlic, tomato, and saffron broth. As one of the many quotes on Credo’s walls says, “I believe that the influence of women will save the country before every other power.” — Lucy Stone.
