The Loving Hut chain of vegan restaurants — which already has a North Beach outpost and a global cult following — is now opening a location inside the Westfield Centre, as Vegansaurus reports, giving vegans citywide a new reason to flock to the shopping center. The Loving Hut offers a mostly Chinese-inspired menu, along with a full compliment of desserts and a few “Western” items as well, like tofu dogs and the Champion Burger. But our favorite part about the place is their logo, which they explain thusly: “’L’ is for ‘Love’ and each heart of a different color is for the different ethnic groups, meaning we are all one in the world.” So which group does the blue heart represent? Avatars?
