Bergamot is set to open next month in the current home of EVOO, reports Dishing. The restaurant has quite a pedigree: chef Keith Pooler is a vet of Scampo and Harvest, and general manager Servio Garcia has done time at Craigie On Main. Pooler and Garcia plan a “progressive American” menu for Bergamot that sounds not unlike the innovative fare being served at EVOO (which is set to open in its new Kendall Square next month): think slow-cooked lamb shoulder with spring onions, black trumpet mushrooms, barley, and stinging nettle sauce. Craft cocktails will also be on offer.
