We’re happy to report on the opening date for Marlowe, Jennifer Puccio’s planned, French-inspired replacement at the former South space on Townsend. The place will come alive on the 16th, right after V-Day, Eater reports, and they’re currently seeking submissions from the public of favorite food-related quotations, five of which will be etched onto the front windows of the restaurant.

Email your quotes here by Monday, February 8th, and if yours is chosen, you’ll also receive a $100 gift certificate to the restaurant. Results will be posted on the Marlowe website. Fun! We’re guessing we’ll have to do better than the tried and true, “If music be the food of love, play on.” (That’s from Twelfth Night, btw.)
