Union Square Hospitality Group hasn’t yet revealed its permanent plans for the Whitney Museum’s café, but in the meantime they’ve announced a pop-up shop called Sandwiched. According to the release, it’ll offer custom sandwiches from Carmen Quagliata (Union Square Café), Michael Anthony (Gramercy Tavern), Floyd Cardoz (Tabla), Daniel Humm (Eleven Madison Park), Kenny Callaghan (Blue Smoke), and Robb Garceau (Hudson Yards), plus drinks, snacks, and desserts from USHG pastry chefs. The pop-up will open Thursday, February 25, in conjunction with the Biennial. The permanent café will replace it in the fall.
