Corner 41 Keeps the Ribs; Rockin’ Taco Gears Up

Corner 41 has opened in the old home of Cy’s Steak and Chop House. It’s under the same ownership, and the famous ribs are still on the menu — along with new delights like a lobster burger. [Thrillist]

• Lakeview now has Rockin’ Taco (caution: horrific website music), a — wait for it — rock n’ roll-themed taco restaurant that also serves hot dogs and has an eat-ten-tacos-get-a-t-shirt challenge. At least it’s not in River North. [Grub Street]

• Albany Park pan-Asian takeout joint Rice N Roll has opened, with a special deal of an entree with soup and an appetizer for $5.95. [CSChi]

Second City Subs has opened in Lincoln Park. [Thrillist]

• The Orland Park location of Bar Louie has closed, with no explanation provided. This comes on the heels of the mini-chain’s closure of its Bucktown branch, which will become a Clarke’s Diner. [Prairie]
