A Rough Day for Steakhouses

Yesterday, the Broad and Chestnut location of Capital Grille, along with the Olive Garden next door, were both evacuated and closed due to an unidentified carbon monoxide leak in the building that houses the two restaurants. Meanwhile, a few blocks away, a Septa bus drove into the front door of Del Frisco’s. The Restaurant Club points out it’s been a difficult year for Del Frisco’s in general, but we’re thinking this is the universe’s way of pointing out we have an excess of meat palaces. Or maybe PETA’s way?
