Carousel, the Armenian-Middle Eastern staple in Glendale, is bringing some new flavors to the table by introducing a happy hour with fresh fruit and oft-organic cocktails, as well as new eats on a bar menu. Dubbed “The Happiest Hours,” the specials on booze and bites will start Tuesday through Friday at 4 p.m., lasting a full three hours. Cocktails are trying hard to keep up with those Kardashians rather than give a roost to gentleman like Gregory Peck (half-Armenian) or boozy bohem-ians like Eric Bogosian, with nearly reprehensible names like “The Skinny Girl Chanel Addiction” and a “Bourbon Barbie for Men.” Eats include mezza of tabbuleh and hummus for four people, in addition to hot items like sausages with cheese, salt and pepper chicken drumettes, and falafel, as well as pressed pita sandwiches, all under six dollars.
