Thomas Keller will share his memories of “back in the day” with Evan Kleiman tomorrow on her KCRW show Good Food, with plans to discuss how he got started in the kitchen. No doubt Bouchon’s big boss is in a terrific mood this week after earning three stars from The Los Angeles Times and selling out the entire stock of his hefty new cookbook. Hopefully he’ll drop some gems on his stint spent at Downtown’s Checkers in the Eighties, which didn’t go as smoothly as his next little venture in Yountville. 11 a.m. live on KCRW and on live podcast.
