Employees Only Duo Will Reveal Speakeasy Secrets

With the end of the bitters shortage seemingly in sight (per this morning’s Post), here’s some good news for amateur mixologists: According to subscription-only service Publishers Marketplace, Employees Only owners Jason Kosmas and Dushan Zaric have sold a follow-up to their love-advice book, and it’s a proper cookbook (or, mixbook?).

The mixologist owners of Employees Only Jason Kosmas and Dushan Zaric’s SPEAKEASY: The Employees Only Guide to Classic Cocktails (with a Twist), taking inspiration from classic potables of the Prohibition Era, then use the finest spirits, the freshest flavorings, and a good measure of reverence for their craft to elevate 90 cocktail recipes to artisanal status, to Lisa Westmoreland at Ten Speed Press, in a nice deal, for publication in Fall 2010, by Donna Bagdasarian at Priot Entertainment Group (World).

A “nice deal,” by the way, means it sold for somewhere up to $49,000. Also sold recently:
