• Beverage app makers Nirvino are hosting a Fillmore Cocktail Crawl on February 2nd, featuring small bites and gratis cocktails made with DonQ rum. The itinerary includes Yoshi’s, 1300 on Fillmore, Rasselas Jazz Club, and Sheba Piano Lounge. (Free with a suggested $5 donation. Must RSVP.)
• Dine About Town is still going on through the 31st, and the $35 prix fixe offerings can sometimes turn out to be a good deal.
• On Saturday, January 30th, The Bold Italic and chef Ryan Farr of 4505 Meats will be serving a four-course winter roast/feast at Flora Grubb Gardens, complete with beverage pairings from Scribe Winery and Hangar One. It’s not free or all that cheap, but still not that bad a deal. ($70, RSVP here.)
• Jeremy Fox has announced two more Tuesday night, family-style dinners at Ubuntu (1140 Main Street, Napa), with guest chefs Daniel Patterson of Coi, and Stuart Brioza, formerly of Rubicon. ($104 per person, not including wine. Yes, not cheap. Reserve here.)
