What to Eat at Des Jardins’ Manzanita, Opening Today in Tahoe

Hungry Tahoe denizens and visitors can rejoice today: Traci Des Jardins’ long-awaited Manzanita is finally open in the new Ritz Carlton Highlands. Just in time for ski season, the new restaurant in the new hotel serves high-end American food that Des Jardins has described as “the kind of food you want to eat after a day of exertion.” Jardiniere chef de cuisine Reylon Agustin is heading the kitchen at Manzanita after her pork-belly sliders with pepper preserve and Meyer lemon aioli won best dish at the 24th annual Lake Tahoe Autumn Food & Wine Festival.
