While EV Grieve ponders the big bucket of crazy that is St. Marks newcomer U2 Karaoke, a drama quietly unfolds next door. Korean spot Gama has seemingly called it a day, as indicated by a reticent sign on the window: “Gama is closed. Thanks for your support during the past three years. Happy holidays.” The truth is, it was the beginning of the end when they put their spinning hallucinogenic pimp cup into storage, but sad nevertheless, especially on this day when Korean cuisine is getting some attention.
