We’ve offered a few nicely-priced options for New Year’s Eve recently, but for all those moneyed philanthropists having Scroogean conversions this time of year, Nobu has a nice opportunity to indulge in both a feast and a good cause. $75 buys entry to a party with a DJ, cupcakes from Downtown’s Big Man Bakes, vodka cocktails and a champagne toast, and Nobu hors d’oeuvres. For $165, a six-course omakase dinner, plus sushi and dessert, is included, with part of the proceeds for both tickets going to Help for Orphans. The tailored menu for the evening is below. Reservations can be made at 310-657-5711.
