Another burger-lovin’ beerswiller is coming to Hollywood, this time at the former location of Louise’s Trattoria at Melrose and Gardner. Thus called The Melgard Public House, the Daily Dish reveals this as a new project from Franck Alix, who collaborated on 1739 Public House and Agave Tequila House in Los Feliz with Jessie Singh (the word “pub” derives from public house, FYI). This will be a typical Alix destination, with casual pub grub like burgers, fish and chips, and pizza, potential free food during happy hour, and over 20 draft beers that go from “on the floor” budget brews to posh imports. Melgard Public House could be here before baby new year if all goes to plan. 7505 Melrose Ave., Hollywood.
