Isaac Toast Opens First U.S. Store in Westwood

Issac Toast, a 2,000-strong chain in Korea, opened its first U.S. location yesterday in Westwood on Weyburn. The owners tell us they are serving Korean sandwiches influenced by the States, as well as salads and fresh fruit juice, with an overall aim to keep things healthy. Looking into Issac Toast’s past, we find a helpful word on Chowhound which says the specialty here is going to be popular street food sandwiches in South Korea that contain egg sweetened with a unique sauce, to which meat and the usual embellishments can be added. It is currently open from 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. , opening and closing later on weekends. A website will be up soon.
