The lobby at 101 California, once the address of Atrium, may soon be the home of two new restaurants. Stacy Finz at the Chron reports that George Chen of Shanghai 1930 may be shifting his operations to a newly remodeled 8,000-square-foot space at the corner of California and Front Streets. The vaguely Bond-like working title for the proposed high-end Chinese restaurant is DragonEye.
Also in negotiations for an adjacent 2,000-square-foot space is sexy Ryan Scott from Top Chef season 4, former exec chef at Mission Beach Café and primarily working as a private chef of late. The only detail we know is that there will be a rotisserie.
