Canadian franchise Freshii is going to hit Philly in a big way, according to the Philadelphia Business Journal. Currently, the fast casual concept, which describes itself as the “convenient choice for healthy and fresh meals and snacks served quickly in a cool, clean, and environmentally sustainable setting” has outposts in Chicago, with others planned for D.C., Denver, NYC and Houston. PBJ reports a Chicago-based management group bought franchise rights to Philly and has plans to open up to 30 Freshii’s in the area. The menu, which leans towards healthy fare, includes customizable wraps, salads, burritos.
