After more than two years shuttered, possibly over owner-disputed health code violations, Doughboys is planning its rebirth for January 11th or earlier. Also trying to make dough in the reworked, “prettier” space are former employees like chef Tito Ruiz, who contacted the restaurant to see if they needed him and will be back in the kitchen on opening day.
