The new wine bar from Perbacco’s Staffan Terje and Umberto Gibin is set to open Dec. 15, even though it won’t have a liquor license for at least another two weeks. They expect to be able to serve beer and wine at Barbacco starting in January, according to Scoop. But they’re forging ahead anyway, serving lunch only from a kitchen headed by Perbacco sous chef Sarah Burchard. Disappointingly, you can’t get a liquid lunch just yet.
